Hello There!

My name is Stephanie and I want to photograph you, yes, YOU! I believe everyone has a story to tell, whether it's a Family Story, Love Story, Birth Story, Baby Story or Glamour Story– we've all got them and I love using photography to tell them. I am wildly fascinated by people and the human experience, and it is through this fascination that I have learned to capture the personality of my clients and subjects around the world.

I have been creatively inclined since childhood, but did not discover that photography was my passion until after the birth of my first child when I was 29 years old. I wanted to document the details that I could not put into words, and photography became that medium for me. I now find great joy in capturing the beauty and soul of each of my subjects, no matter what setting they are in, and believe there is beauty to behold in every person.

I was born and raised in Southern California (In N' Out, anyone?), and joined the United States Navy upon the completion of high school. After serving for nearly six years, traveling the world, and fighting the War on Terrorism in Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom, I was honorably discharged to pursue the rest of my education in 2008. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Business in 2012. I picked up my first DSLR (Canon T3i Rebel) in 2014 and haven't looked back since. I currently reside in Virginia Beach, VA with my husband of 17 years and two daughters, Sadie and Liberty.
